Why are you saying this is dangerous? thousands of guys have done it!
The simple truth is that we're talking about injecting a foreign material into your body. There are knowledgeable guys who have done it themselves, and others who have had professional practioners do it. Don't be misled, it doesn't matter WHO does the injection, the opportunities for medical complications is quite high, and you need to be aware of the risks involved. Many of which we'll talk about on this page. Are we harshing your mellow? Sorry.. we hope you take this as seriously as we do!
can it get infected?
Yes, thanks for asking. This is one of the foremost risks involved. If the materials are not medically sterile, or the environment not equally clean, and the skin not properly prepped, there's definitely a chance that bacterial could be introduced with the injection. Even if that was properly done, the post-injection care requires that you keep things clean and free of environmental bacteria whenever possible. So, no hot tubs, public pools, heck not even a hot bath in your own home for at least a couple of days. The injection holes need to heal up completely before you can risk that kind of exposure. Showers are fine and encouraged to help keep things clean.
This is also why we'll tell you never to infuse saline, dextrose or glucose after you've received silicone. Guys who need trimix injections to achieve an erection will also be out of luck! You don't want any needle going through the silicone mass, and into a blood vessel (See the section above about "Is It Dangerous?"). The secondary chance of bacteria from a needle getting stuck into the silicone could result in requiring removal of the silicone to remove the infection. That's a lot of time and money wasted. Not to mention the pain and embarrassment and ultimately the scarring and shaping after the surgery. Is it worth it?

I've heard it can cause health issues. What's that all about??
If the injection needle enters or even clips a vein, the silicone oil can wind up in an artery, and the chances are almost guaranteed that this will cause a pulmonary (lung) embolism. This almost always results in a trip to the hospital, and ultimately, death. At a minimum, it can wind up causing life-threatening lung inflammation if even a tiny bit of silicone gets into the bloodstream. If it doesn't result in death, this scenario is likely to lay you out for at least a couple of WEEKS, if not months to recover.
Some believe that the introduction of a foreign material like this induces general inflammation as an autoimmune response, which you might battle the rest of your life. While there isn't consistent medical evidence of it, we can't deny that there are guys out there who swear this has happened to them.
There's no sugar coating this - it's an absolutely REAL risk! A lot of "juiced" guys will not help you self-inject, or even offer advice because nobody wants the burden of knowing we potentially helped a guy kill himself over a fetish. Most juiced guys prefer to go to one of a couple of doctors south of the border, as they know where and how to inject to have the greatest opportunity to avoid this scenario.

this could impact your relationship!
While we're not talking about physical danger in this case (we hope!), we do know people who have had their relationships end because they had silicone injected without their partner's approval, or contrary to their wishes. All we can say in these cases is if you have a spouse/partner, be honest with them and let them know that you're thinking about having this done. Show them some pictures of quality siliconed junk, see how they react. Gauge their response and be open with them if you really want to pursue this. You may have to decide for yourself which is more important! Once done, it's almost impossible to "reverse", so you need to be sure that all parties involved are on board with the idea of you being a bigger man, and dealing with all of the lifestyle changes that go with it. Your siliconed junk will impact their lives too!
